With the 4 month cap on short term medical plans this plan type below can act just like a short term medical plan in between open enrollment for individuals and families to provide some coverage

This plan has Limits. An introduction on limits versus unlimited is the number of doctor visits is Limited to like 2 or 4. However, if you have exhausted the 2 doctor visits or the 4 in the old plan type it did say you may get a discount

So if you know you may need to visit the doctor once per month, this may not work. An Unlimited plan type would work better
