some carriers are observing the holiday and are closed

Sundays seem to be the day for me when I need something to be open. Also, almost everytime I look up its a holiday. And stores are closed. I intake over the weekend but sometimes I have to call the carrier. Today some phone and text meetings are going to be prolonged because I cant get through. I hope it is just because of the holiday.
